Zalissia Hunting Reserve was founded in 1957 on the left bank of the Desna River not far from Kyiv.
The USSR leaders and even heads of other countries used to choose this beautiful corner of untouched nature for their rest. Many communist rulers, including Leonid Brezhnev, Nikita Khrushchev, Fidel Castro, and afterwards state officials of modern Ukraine came to hunt here. Not surprisingly, it was almost unreal for common people to get into the reserve until 2014.
Things have changed greatly since then and everyone can visit Zalissia now. Hurry up to take advantage of this opportunity!
Choose a photo safari in Zalissia National Park to spend an unforgettable day in nature, watch wild animals in their natural habitat and take great pictures for your Instagram account!
