According to the NDVI index, Kyiv is the greenest metropolis in Europe, and you will see it while flying over the numerous parks, forests, squares and Dnieper islands. Although rides above the city center are prohibited, you will see a spectacular panorama of the city with its golden domes of churches, historical monuments and new districts. Start location: Hydro park or Park of the Peoples’ Friendship.

Ride duration: 40-80 minutes (depending on the wind).

Tour duration (including transfer to the start location, briefing and ride): from 3 to 6 hours.

How and when the balloons fly.

Ride time: Spring, summer and autumn balloon rides are carried out in the morning (from 5 to 8 AM) and in the evening (from 7 to 9 PM). In winter, the rides take place throughout the day.

Weather conditions: Balloon rides are completely weather dependent. The final confirmation of the ride takes place the day before the event (in rare cases, the ride may be canceled a few hours before the start). If the flight is impossible due to weather conditions, it is postponed to a later date.

We did the beer tour in Kiev. Five beers in five different bars for two of us and our guide. That was a great chance to hang out with some locals, get to know the history and city a bit more, all while enjoying some of the unique local beers you can only find in Kiev. Highly recommend taking a tour with Wonders & Holidays. I learned so much about Ukrainian history that I wouldn't have on my own and the tour guides feel like friends (rather than just guides).
