Do you want to experience the festive life of city streets and participate in bright events? Culinary, musical, and literary festivals are held almost every week here. And what about having a delicious dinner and drinking excellent (and at the same time cheap) craft beer or local liquors? There are dozens of stylish restaurants and cafes in Lviv, where you can enjoy the cuisine and have a good time!

Welcome to Lviv!

To feel the atmosphere of the city and see its main sights, you need to devote at least two or three days to Lviv. During this time you will:

  • Listen to the guide at the ancient (14th century) Ploshcha Rynok (Market Square). You will learn about the local architecture and the mysterious stories associated with the houses and their inhabitants.
  • Admire the panorama of the city from Zamkova Hora (Castle Hill). The viewing platform is located 413 meters above sea level.
  • Wander along the lanes of Lychakivske cemetery among the beautiful crypts and monuments which are the true masterpieces of sculpture.
  • Drop in the Pharmacy Museum, which has been open since 1735.
  • Overcome 408 steps of the staircase and climb up the City Hall, the highest in Ukraine.
  • Taste several dozens of chocolate varieties at the Lviv Handmade Chocolate.
  • Cheer up with a cup of espresso at the Lviv Coffee Mining Manufacture. According to the legend of the cafe, designed as an underground mine, the best sorts of coffee are mined here and are immediately brewed for the guests.

Have you ever been to the dungeons of churches? It is possible in the Jesuit church! There you will see underground corridors with the 17th-18th centuries’ frescoes on the walls. The atmosphere of the Middle Ages reigns in Lviv castles. Olesko Castle, one of the most beautiful in Eastern Europe, was laid down in the times of Kyivan Rus. And Pidhirtsi Castle (1640) was nicknamed “Galician Versailles”.

Galician cuisine will complement your impressions of Lviv. The cult of food takes a special place in the life of the city. Hundreds of cafes and restaurants offer varied menus: from inexpensive street food to exquisite restaurant dishes, the presentation of which is a real show. Be sure to try desserts – Lviv strudels and syrnyky, treat yourself to herbal liqueurs and craft beer – it is very tasty and cheap here.

Come to Lviv for a couple of days and see how delicious, interesting and beautiful it is.
